Intellectual Property Policy

This policy covers two separate things: the artwork we provide, and the artwork you upload.

Our Designs

All designs in our Design Gallery, along with the site’s text, graphics and branding, were created in-house or licensed to us. They are protected by copyright and may not be copied, resold, or redistributed — including as part of another product — without our permission.

Your Uploaded Images

  • You keep ownership. Uploading an image to Lulumera does not transfer copyright to us. Your image remains yours.
  • You confirm your rights. By uploading, you confirm that you own the image or have the permission of the rights holder to reproduce it on a physical product.
  • You take responsibility. You are responsible for any claim arising from artwork you upload. If you are unsure whether you have the rights to an image, do not upload it.
  • We may decline. We may refuse or cancel an order, and refund it, if we believe the artwork infringes someone else’s rights.

Common Examples

  • Fine to use: your own photos and drawings; photos you took yourself; artwork you commissioned and hold the rights to; logos for a business you own or are authorized to represent.
  • Not okay without permission: characters, logos or artwork from movies, games, sports teams, brands or other creators; images downloaded from a search engine or social media; fan art based on someone else’s protected characters.

Purchasing a product does not grant you rights to the artwork printed on it beyond the item itself.

Reporting Infringement

If you believe content on this site — including customer-submitted artwork on a product — infringes your rights, contact us through our Contact page with:

  1. Identification of the work you believe is being infringed
  2. The URL or order reference where it appears
  3. Your contact details
  4. A statement that you believe the use is unauthorized
  5. A statement, made in good faith, that the information in your notice is accurate

We review notices promptly and will remove or cancel content where appropriate.
